If you haven't driven in the USA before or are not use to a left hand drive model of car, make sure a member of staff goes through all the controls with you and feel familiar with them before you leave the airport. Ask if there is anything you don't understand.

Have a route planned before you leave the airport and try to avoid busy areas during rush hours.

Use the expressway to get around as it is quicker but don't forget you will have to pay the toll to use these roads.  Always have plenty of change as you will be expected to pay the correct money.
