Tampa Airport Taxis
You will find two taxi/cab companies operating from the airport; Yellow and United Cab. Both are conveniently located in the baggage claim level in the four corner areas.
You can expect to pay the same fare with both companies. A minimum fare of $10 is payable. Taxis operate on a meter so once the meter goes above $10 the minimum fare obviously will not apply to your journey. The fare operates per mile (not kilometres) and is $2 per mile for both companies.
If you are travelling to downtown Tamp and the cruise port connection then you will pay $22.
Taxi cab service is provided from the Commercial Ground Transportation Quadrants located in all four corners of the Baggage Claim Level.

Another good service that operates from the airport is the airport shuttle/limo service which is
the Super Shuttle and is ideal for a group or for passengers who don't mind sharing. There is a kiosk in the baggage reclaim area where you can get information and fare prices from.
The vehicle is like a minivan type and can be more economical that taking a taxi/cab.
