There is an excellent range of parking at the Tampa Airport to suit all needs. The choices on offer include Valet Parking, Short Term, Long Term, Economy Parking Garage & Lot and Cell Phone Waiting Lot (this is a waiting area only for if you are picking someone up)

You can pay by cash at the car parks but they do take the following credit cards and personal checks that are drawn on a Florida Bank only: Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Diners Club

It isn't necessary to pre book parking and this isn't a service that is offered anyway.  You cannot leave your car at the car park for longer than 45 days.

Disabled parking is available in all the car parks.  If you are using Economy parking you will find disabled bays next to the bus stops/shuttle stops for convenience. More information is available at 001 813 870 8790

Valet Parking is open from 05.30 to 17.30. It is extremely convenient and the most expensive option and drop off is at the blue departure kerbside.

For Valet Parking outside of these hours you will need to go to the Short Term Garage on level five and drop off your vehicle near the Yeager Elevators. Valet Parking is $2 per every half hour ($5 min charge) with a maximum of $25 for 24 hours parking.

Short Term parking/Garage is open 24 hours.  It is convenient parking and is accessed by the red or blue elevators.  The first hour of parking is free, which makes it convenient if you are dropping someone off or picking someone up.

After the first free hour charges are $1 for every 20 minutes of parking.  The maximum for 24 hours of parking is $20.

Long Term parking/garage isn't as convenient as short term but is less expensive and more economical if you will need to park your vehicle for longer than a day.  You will need to use the monorail to take you to the terminal building from this car park which is located on level 5. Pedestrian Walkways to Terminal are located on Level 2

The car park is open 24 hours and the maximum for 24 hour parking is $15, with the first hour free and $1 after this for every 20 minutes of parking.

For the cheapest parking use the Economy Parking Garage.  The maximum per 24 hours is only $9 and $1 per 20 minutes of parking.

You will have to take a shuttle to the terminal building from this car park but they run 24 hours every day in 5-7 minute intervals.

The Cell Phone Waiting Lot is not a car park.  Use this parking area if you are meeting someone, but you cannot leave your vehicle at any time.  The idea is that when your passenger has collected their luggage and cleared customs they will call you and you then drive to the terminal building to pick them up.

This lot is free and there is no limit to the length of time you can wait there, but remember you must not leave your vehicle.
