Infant and child booster seats are mandatory in Florida.  All children must ride in the rear of the car. Children up to 3 should be put into an infant seat and older children into a booster seat.  Do not put your child into an infant carrier in the front seat as most vehicles are fitted with passenger airbags. Be prepared for tolls/turnpikes which vary in price.  It's worth having plenty of change in the car as some tolls will only take the correct amount as you have to throw the coins into a basket and there may not be an attendant on duty.
