There is a good service from the St Petersburg Airport for both taxis and shuttle options.  These services operate from straight across the road from arrivals and baggage reclaim.  Always make sure you know exactly your destination and the approximate travelling distance to it.

Zones are from 1 to 11 - Downtown St Petersburg will cost $15 which is in zone 1 and Apollo Beach is in zone 11 so would cost $32
