Eating and drinking outlets are extremely limited at the airport.

All opening times are convenient for arriving and departing aircraft:

If you walk past the baggage carts towards the public telephones and you will find a vending machine for drinks and snacks next to the toilets and restrooms.

There is also a Food and beverage kiosk on the first floor next to Gates 9 to 12:

On the second level of the airport you will find the Palm Terrace Restaurant serving American Bistro type food, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.  There are excellent views over the airport and of Tampa Bay.

The nearby Ponce de Leon Lounge (named after Florida's 16th Century discoverer) has a wall mural replica of the earliest map of the New World painted in 1513, courtesy of the Spanish Naval Museum in Madrid.
