You can be dropped off at the front of the terminal building, but you cannot leave any vehicle here.  The short stay car park is available just further along from ticketing/check in on the left side after the car hire car park.

You will be checking in to ticketing/check in A or B, depending on which airline you are travelling with:

• Ticketing/Check In A: CanJet & Sun Wing
• Ticketing/Check In B: Allegiant Air; USA 3000 & Sun Country Airlines

Once you have checked in you will go through passenger screening and then take the elevator or stairs to the next floor where you will find the departures lounge and a small selection of shops and Palm Terrace Restaurant serving American Bistro type food, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.  There are excellent views over the airport and of Tampa Bay.

There is also the opportunity to buy newspapers, magazines, books and those last minute gifts and souvenirs.

All departure gates are on the level which are only a short walk from the departures walk.  Gates 2 to 6 are to the right and gates 9 to 12 are to the left, facing the terminal building.

Remember to check with your airline what their check in time is: . 1, 2 or 3 hours prior to departure and it is always worth checking to see whether the airport is on high alert, which may mean extra security and the need to arrive at the airport much earlier than usual.
