Public buses are operated by in Fort Myers. Their services operate from 06.00 to 22.00 hours.  There are 17 routes to choose from, including a park and ride service for the local beaches.

Note that there isn't a bus service on the following days:New Year's Day: Memorial Day: July 4th: Labor Day: Thanksgiving Day and
Christmas Day

The service from Southwest Fort Myers Airport is Route 50 which will take you to Summerlin Square in downtown Fort Myers.  The transfer point is located at Daniel's Parkway on approach to the terminal building.

Monday to Friday Services: First bus is at 07.20 and the last bus is 21:20
Check Lee Tran website for Route 50 as there is no pattern to the times of departure.

Saturday Services: First bus is at 07.20 and the last bus is 21.20 and is a limited service.
Again check their website for times.

Sunday Services: First bus is at 07.08 and the last bus is at 18.58 The service operates as follows:07.08 - 10.58 - 12.58 - 14.58 - 16.58 - 18.58

The fare is $1 each way.  You can buy bus passes if you intend to use the bus service during your stay in Fort Myers:

• All day pass for unlimited rides during one day $3
• 12 day pass $10
• Senior citizens and disabled fares are from $0.50

For reverse service from downtown Fort Myers to the airport:

Monday to Friday: the first bus departs Summerlin Square at 06.10 and the last bus departs at 21.10 Again, check the website for times.

Saturday Services: the first bus departs at 06.10 and the last bus at 21.10

Sunday Services: the first bus departs at 08.05 then at 09.55 - 11.55 - 15.55 - 17.55 and
19.55 is the last bus
