Remember if you are arriving from a country that drives on the left, in the US you will be driving on the right, so it is important if you are not familiar with this to at least know the route you will be taking from the airport.

In the USA undertaking (overtaking on the inside) is common and is not illegal so be prepared for this as it can be quite scary when it first happens to you.
Keep an eye on the speed limits, the last thing you need at the start of your holiday is a ticket. As a general guide the speed limits are:

- Urban districts - 30 mph
