Parking at Panama City Airport is limited but the number of spaces are adequate for the size of the airport.  Short term and long term parking is available. All parking areas are patrolled 24 hours a day.

Parking at the kerb at the airport is not allowed except for dropping off and picking up.  You cannot park your car or leave your vehicle.  It's a quick stop, drop off, or stop, pick up and drive off as quickly as possible.

To avoid using the kerb, the car park public lot is free for the first 10 minutes, so you can easily park there if you are dropping off or picking up.

The rates for all parking : Free for the first 10 minutes; each 30 minutes is $1 and the maximum for parking for a day is $8

So the parking is relatively inexpensive as far as airport parking goes.

You may prefer to park downtown or at one of the nearby hotels (if you are a guest) rather than at the airport.  Check with your hotel if they have a free shuttle service to the airport.  Some hotels do offer packages which include parking and can work out relatively inexpensive.

If your hotel does not offer a shuttle bus package to the airport, it still may be worth investigating and taking a taxi or public transport from or nearby the hotel.
