Orlando Airport Information for Passengers with Special Needs

Services and the route through the airport is excellent for those passengers who have a disability. On arrival at the airport there are many options for disabled parking with the disabled bay parking areas adjacent to lifts/elevators.

Changes between floors are minimal for check in and boarding with only one floor change, which is serviced by lifts/elevators.

Once into departures there is moving walkways to all gate areas and also an automated guideway transit, which is like a monorail system and takes only 68 seconds to the airside terminal.

All toilets are adapted to be wheelchair and disabled friendly.

If you require a wheelchair when you arrive at the airport confirm this with your airline when you book your ticket.  Also, if you will need to use an ambu lift onto the aircraft, confirm this at the time of booking your ticket with the airline and again when you check in.
