It's a good idea to read up on the USA rules and regulations of driving and in particular their signs, as for example their give way is yield, which does make sense but some of their signs will not.  In short, know where you are going and which exit signs off the highway you need to take, otherwise you could find yourself driving miles out of your way. It is always a good idea to have a co-pilot at your side so that you can concentrate on the driving.
