Orlando Sanford Airport is split into two terminals; Terminal A (International Departures), Terminal B (Domestic Departures).The two terminals are adjacent, so you can move from one to the other easily. Terminal A is on the upper level which is serviced by lifts/elevators and escalators.
The airport is only small so it is easy to find your way around.
All check in/ticketing is in Terminal B on the ground floor. From here you will either carry on through Terminal B security or go up to the upper level and into Terminal A if you have an international flight.
The main hub of shops, bars and restaurants although fairly limited, are in Terminal B as this is the busiest terminal.
There are a couple of shops in Terminal A, plus currency exchange and the Information Centre.You will also find an observation deck in Terminal A with good views of the runway and surrounding area.
The Royal Palm Lounge is in Terminal A and offers a great range of facilities, including baggage storage, comfortable lounge, children's play area, 2 TV theatres showing DVD's and a computer section with 11 stations. There is also a bar and snack bar. A smoking lounge is also available. Check at the reception for admission fees.
The VIP Lounge at the airport is the Guest House and is also in Terminal A, International Departures Lounge and is only open on the days when flights from this terminal are operating.
The lounge has comfortable surroundings and offers WiFi, TV, telephones and the usual business facilities and complimentary drinks and snacks. The lounge is non smoking and is open prior to the first International flight and closes after the last flight departs.
Security and the departure gates are on the upper level. There are no long walking distances to the gates.
