Orlando Sanford International Airport stands on approximately 2000 acres and boasts some of the finest leisure passenger facilities in the United States. The airport is conveniently located within the boundaries of the City of Sanford, in the northwestern section of Seminole County, Florida, 25km miles northeast of Orlando, Florida.

It functions as Orlando's secondary airport and is farther away from the main attractions which include Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld than the main Orlando International Airport

Orlando Sanford Airport is split into two terminals; Terminal A (International Departures), Terminal B (Domestic Departures).They are adjacent, so you can move from one to the other easily .Terminal A is on the upper level which is serviced by lifts/elevators and escalators. There is a good choice of buses and coaches from the airport.  The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority runs the Lynx bus service which operates around central Florida and has a service to and from the airport. You will have to make a rail/train connection in downtown Orlando with the Amtrak network, as there is no rail connection at the airport. Although there is not a wide range of drinking and eating outlets at the airport, there are plenty of choices for snacks and drinks.
