Royal Rent a Car is an independent car hire and rental company based in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.  The company was established in 1983 and has a wide range of vehicles for hire, including trucks and cargo vans.

When you rent a vehicle in the State of Florida you will be subject to taxation.  These taxes vary from town to town.  Miami Sales tax is 7%, so you will pay this on top of the quote you have been given.

Car hire companies in the States generally will not hire a car to anyone under 25.  However, there are several companies that do and Royal is one of them.  Because of statistics showing that accidents for the under 25 age group are greater than any other there is an additional charge of $19.95 per day if you are hiring a car in this age group.  i.e. 25 or under.

Try and return your vehicle on time.  Royal do make a charge per hour for late drop offs.

You can pick up your vehicle at Miami Airport and drop it off at Royal's location in Fort Lauderdale.  However, they will make a charge to you of $15 for this service.

You must pay by credit or debit card for your vehicle.  Royal will not accept cash for any car hire rentals.
