Wi-Fi internet access is available at various locations, contact the Information Centre to find out exactly where these are, or you can use one of the white paging phones which are dotted around the airport.

Miami Airport has excellent facilities for those travelling with special needs or who require assistance.  If you are going to require a wheelchair at the airport (which are provided free of charge), reserve this with your airline when you book your ticket.  If you require assistance or an ambulift to help you on to the aircraft, also make sure you confirm this when you book your ticket with the airline. You can also ask for a wheelchair when you check in but it is recommended to pre book if you can.

There are plenty of disabled and wheelchair access toilets throughout the airport with lifts to all floors and all car parks have disabled parking bays.

There is no specific play or entertainment area for children, but there are plenty of restaurants/eating outlets which are suitable for children (including Burger King), throughout the airport.

There is a Lost Property Desk at the airport on level 2, Concourse E, just next to the entrance.

Remember if you have left or lost property/items on the aircraft then you must contact the airline you travelled with.

To store any luggage, you must have some identification such as a passport, birth certificate or a driving licence, and the cost of storage depends on the size of the item. The facility is open from 05.00 to 23.00 hours

If you have lost luggage in transit and it does not appear on the baggage reclaim belt, you must contact either the airline you travelled with or their ground handling agents.  Do not leave the baggage reclaim area until you have spoken to one of these or a member of the airport staff.

There is a drug store before security on Concourse D, but there is no dedicated first aid room at the airport.  If you require assistance, contact either the Information Centre or a member of staff.

There is a Bank of America ATM cash point on Concourse C before security and six currency exchange facilities in the following areas:

• Level 2, Concourse E, open 05.30 to 23.00
• Level 1, Greeter's Lobby
• Level 3, Concourse B, Greeter's Lobby
  

There is a good choice of lounges throughout the airport, all offering business centres, work stations with internet access, TV, newspapers and snacks and drinks with some offering showering facilities.
