Enterprise Car Hire at Miami International Airport
When you collect your hire/rental vehicle it will most probably have a full tank of fuel. Most cars in the US run on unleaded petrol/gas.
Fuel is sold by the gallon, rather than litres. One gallon is about 3.8 litres.
At most garages or gas stations as they are called in the States you will have to swipe your credit card before you can fill up.

Miami Airport Enterprise Car Hire
Cars in the US generally, are quite large and spacious. Make sure you are familiar with the vehicle before you leave the airport. Most cars in the States are automatic, many of them having the controls on the steering column which can be a bit strange at first.
Also, handbrakes can sometimes be in a less than obvious place. Namely, under the dashboard and sometimes it can be a foot pedal.
Once you are on the road make sure you keep to the speed limit, or under it is recommended. The police will stop you if you are speeding and you will be fined on the spot.
Do not drive with alcohol in the car, it's illegal. Also, don't risk having an alcoholic drink and then getting behind the wheel. The laws in Florida are extremely strict. Don't have that one drink on your flight, driving for the first time in the USA can be daunting and you will need your wits about you.
If you are unsure about anything, directions, road laws etc. ask at the Enterprise desk.
