Arrivals at Miami Airport

Arrivals at Miami AirportRemember if you are travelling into the US and you are not a citizen you will have to complete a Federal Inspection Form prior to landing at the airport.  If you are unsure about the form as a member of the cabin crew to help as this will save time and embarrassment when you are going through passport control.

For those travelling and arriving on a domestic flight, which includes Canada and the Bahamas you will have to walk to the terminal building via your concourse, although there are walkways, you may wish to pre book a wheelchair or assistance prior to your journey.

You will arrive on to level 2, so will need to use the lift or escalator  to Level 1 where the baggage reclaim is. All transportation is immediately outside the doors on this level.

If you are arriving on an international flight you will firstly go through the Border Protection passport control and US Customs and on to the baggage reclaim.

For passengers who are in transit, the Interline Lobby is directly outside customs, so you can recheck your luggage/baggage in there for your connection.

If you arrive at Customs B, you will find yourself on level 3, so you will need to go by lift to level one for buses and taxis.  Use the moving walkway on level 3 to get to all parking areas.

For arrival at Customs E you will be on level 1 where the onward transport, i.e. taxis and buses are and also the car hire counters.  If you are travelling on, go to level 2.

The car hire/rental counters and desks are in the arrivals area next to the baggage reclaim area in the Central and North terminal buildings.  If you arrive into the South Terminal there is an Information and Reservation board on the 3rd floor and also in arrivals where you can use the rental car phone.
