Workers laid off at Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport

Veolia Transportation is laying off 153 people after losing its shuttle contract at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

But it is hoped that many of the jobs will be picked up by the operator taking over the bus service at the end of the month. Limousines of South Florida, awaits final approval from the Broward County Commission.
