If you haven't driven in the USA before, or if you have, but not in Florida, then it is worth checking on the driving laws in Florida as not all the States have the same driving laws.

All passengers must wear a seat belt and children must have a child restraint seat or if older use an adult seat belt.

Don't be surprised if someone undertakes you (overtakes you on the inside).  This is perfectly legal in Florida but can be a bit unnerving when it first happens to you.  It is recommended not to try this yourself unless you are 100% familiar with driving in the States.

If you see an emergency vehicle ahead by law you must move over to the next lane.  If this isn't possible then slow down to at least 20 miles below the speed limit.  Once you have passed the vehicle, whether it be stationary or moving, then you can continue as normal.
