Jacksonville Airport Buses

AirJTA Airport busAirJTA operate a shuttle bus from the airport,  just outside arrivals and into downtown Jacksonville.  It takes about 30 minutes and costs $3 for a one way ticket.  This is subsidised for senior citizens and children.

From the airport the bus runs on the following route stopping at or near Longhorn Steakhouse - Hilton Garden Inn - on to I 95 and the final destination is Kings Avenue Station in downtown Jacksonville.

Times from the airport are: first bus 06.20, 07.50, 09.20, 10.50, 12.20, 13.50, 15.20, 16.50, 18.20 and the last bus is at 19.50

Travelling from Kings Avenue Station to the Airport the bus stops at Kings Avenue Station - City Hall  Annex (Newnan and Bay Streets) - Adams and Hogan Streets - Rosa L. Parks and FCCJ Transit Station (for the Skyway Monorail which operates around the town and is 2.5 miles long), on to I 95 and to the airport where the bus drops off at arrivals.
 
Times from downtown are: first bus 05.30, 07.00, 08.30. 10.00, 11.30,13.00, 14.30, 16.00, 17.30, 19.00 to the last bus at 20.30

Recently all JTA buses have been  r fitted to allow a programme called Bikes on Buses (BOB) to run.  Bike racks are now available on buses.

There is also a trolley service that operates in downtown Jacksonville and it's free.  There's 3 trolleys serving the area.

You can park at The Trolley at St Andrews Station on Monroe Street near to the Arena and Baseball Park and then take the trolley.

This can be booked for long stay parking and they have reasonable monthly rates on offer.
