Jacksonville Airport is situated 29km north of downtown Jacksonville. The airport can be reached from the centre of Jacksonville by taking the I-95 to Airport Road (exit 363-B), and taking the westbound signposted route to the terminal. Road access from Georgia and St Augustine is also via the I-95.

Jacksonville Airport is the gateway to northeast Florida and southeast Georgia with fourteen major and regional airlines operating out of the airport offering over 200 daily arrivals and departures. The main terminal has a large courtyard with several eating options and a stage were local bands perform at the end of each month

All of the ground transportation services including rental car agencies, taxis and limousines are located on the lower level of the terminal building adjacent to the baggage reclaim area.

Both long and short term car parking is available next to the terminal building. Additional economy parking lots are located further from the terminal building and are linked by a free shuttle bus.
