A 24 hour taxi service is operated at Fort Lauderdale Airport by Yellow Cab.  The taxi rank can be found outside the baggage area on the lower level at all terminals.  You will need to check in at the Transportation Podium.

The taxis operate on a meter and can take up to 5 passengers.  The fares are regulated by Broward County and you will find these rates posted at each terminal.

The airport is located at Dania Beach which is 3 miles southwest of central Fort Lauderdale (so taxi fares should not be extortionate).   Miami is approximately 21 miles north of the airport.
