Car Parking at Fort Lauderdale Airport
There are plenty of parking options at this airport; terminal parking, valet parking and long term parking. In the multi level parking there are 12,000 spaces available.
A new waiting area has just opened which is free for the first 15 minutes for picking up and dropping off. After 15 minutes you will be charged at the normal rates. Also you cannot leave your car unattended. This area is called the Cell Phone Waiting Area.
The Garage Complex car park is colour coded and from these colours you can tell which is the most convenient car park for you depending on the airline you are flying with.
On the lower level of the Garage complex there are tram stops, which are shuttles that run to all terminals conveniently every 10 minutes.
Remote Lot or Long Term Car Parking at Fort Lauderdale Airport
Remote Lot Parking or Long Term are available at the Park N Save, Tower and Red areas. Shuttles operate from these areas 24 hours a day at around 15 minute intervals. On arrival after your journey simply take the shuttle back to the car park. The service is free of charge.

Long Term or Remote Parking prices are the same for the following three areas within the Long Term Car Park: Red Lot, Park n Save and Tower Lot

Car Parking for passengers with special needs at Fort Lauderdale Airport
There are plenty of disabled parking bays at the airport which are clearly signposted. All shuttle buses are wheelchair friendly and the bus stops are beside the disabled parking bays in all car parks.
