How To Get To Fort Lauderdale Airport

Fort Lauderdale Driving DirectionsFort Lauderdale Airport is located on the southern outskirts of the city and stands alongside the I-95 interstate (SR-9) and the I-595 in the Broward County of Florida.

Running from North to South, the I-95 is situated immediately to the west of the Fort Lauderdale Airport complex, while the I-595 interstate, Griffin Road and the Federal Highway border the remainder of the Airport. From any of these roads you can access the Perimeter Road which will lead you into Terminal Drive and the Aviation Boulevard.

Nearby, Dania Beach lies to the south, along the Federal Highway, which leads to the city of Hollywood. Known for its expansive beachfront, Hollywood is also close to the regional North Perry Airport.

Driving Directions For Fort Lauderdale Airport

Directions to Fort Lauderdale Airport from the North (Boca Raton):

1. Travel along the I-95 interstate south and take the SR-84 exit, number 27. Keep to the left and then take the road sign posted FL-84.

2. Turn right onto southeast 6th Avenue and continue driving straight onto South Federal Highway and follow the signs to the Airport Terminals

Directions to Fort Lauderdale Airport from the South (North Miami):

1. Travel along the I-95 interstate North and take the SR-818 exit, number 26

2. Keep to the right and then take the road sign posted Griffin Road

3. Turn left onto the North Federal Highway and Head towards the I-595 interstate west ramp where you will see the signs for the Airport Terminals
