Unfortunately there is no railway station at the airport or in Daytona Beach itself.  The nearest railway station is 15 miles southwest of Daytona Beach at Deland.  From here you can take a bus to Daytona Beach, and the journey distance from Deland Railway Station to Daytona Beach is approximately 30km and takes around 50 minutes. You can catch another connecting bus or taxi from Daytona Beach to the airport, which is approximately a 6 minute journey.

You can travel on Amtrak all the way from New York as far down as Key West, Florida, stopping at Deland for your connection to Daytona Beach and on to the airport.

Also from Deland Railway Station you can take a connecting train to Orlando/Tampa , St. Petersburg  and Fort Myers.

An estimated cost for a ticket from Deland to Orlando would be around $14 return.
Deland to Fort Myers approximately $54 return.
Deland to St Petersburg approximately $36 return.
